I am a very fit personal trainer, and this is what I use. You use what you want, but after years of experience this is what gets me results:
Hi-quality protein shake twice a day.
I use ALL NATURAL Whey Isolate protein. This means you may have to buy it on-line, not at GNC as most of theirs contain artificial sugars, sweeteners, and fillers.
I also take all Natural Green tea fat burner, twice a day.
You can buy that at Walgreens. Helps with energy levels, I have found.
I also believe in taking Tonalin CLA or supplementing your diet with healthy fats this helps reduce your body’s own fat storages over time.
Remember there is no supplement that, on its own, will cause you to lose large amounts of weight. It takes dedication, lifestyle changes, and eating good food.
Try to stick with the basics:Whey protein, Creatine, Multi vitamin, maybe some Glutamine if you have hard recovery times. If you are trying to burn fat I had good luck with CLA, but putting on muscle and losing weight at the same time is a battle that I personally don’t think can be won. Depending if you are really fat or not I would suggest starting with a cutting phase for about 4-8 weeks, then a bulking phase and so on and so forth. If you want decent muscle, but also want to be ripped get used to switching between Bulking and cutting.
